Exclusive heritage retreat

At Christian’s, we strive to provide you with everything you could ever want in an exclusive getaway. Whether it’s a family vacation, a romantic break or a business trip. The home has the capacity to accommodate for up to a maximum of 6 people and boasts three spacious bedrooms, including a queen with ensuite.

The History

The property itself was built in 1914 by none other than Cornelius Christian, and beautifully restored to provide a truly unique getaway experience. Much of the timber (including the kitchen floor boards) is from original convict buildings having been well preserved by the original method of soaking in salt water. Some of the original furniture remains and every effort has been taken to preserve the home’s early 1900’s charm.

Lounge/Sitting Room

The lounge and sitting room has two sitting areas. Bose surround sound system, large flat screen TV and DVD, iPod dock station, gas heater and ceiling fans.

Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchen including microwave, gas oven and cook top, dishwasher, large country style table chairs. Walk-in pantry.

Verandah

A beautiful deep verandah extends almost the full length of two sides of the cottage overlooking the Pacific Ocean. An ideal spot for meals or a late afternoon drink.
