FIT (FREE INDEPENDENT TRAVELLER) BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Full payment or a deposit equivalent to and in line with our cancellation policy is required prior to arrival unless alternative credit terms have been approved in writing.

FIT Cancellation Policy:

25% tariff payable per room: applies to all cancellations 76 to 90 days prior to arrival date.
50% tariff payable per room: applies to all cancellations 61 to 75 days prior to arrival date.
75% tariff payable per room: applies to all cancellations 31 to 60 days prior to arrival date.
100% tariff payable per room: applies to all cancellations 0 to 30 days prior to arrival date, or client noshow.

Please Note: New bookings that are made and travel within our cancellation policy tiers are also subject to the applicable cancellation fee.

Changing or amending booking travel dates within our cancellation period is regarded as a cancellation, and the applicable cancellation fee will apply. Amendments outside of our cancellation period are welcome without penalty. Name changes are not permitted.

Our 2023/24 FIT booking conditions & payment policies including our Pandemic/Epidemic Policy supersede all prior policies, Terms and Conditions. All existing bookings regardless of when the booking was first made are also subject to these latest booking terms and conditions.

Pandemic/Epidemic Policy:

We have the below options to provide certainty as part of our Pandemic/Epidemic flexibility policy. If a reservation is affected by a Government border closure on the day of departure or during a border closure period preventing the guests from traveling we may give consideration to either of the following;

1) Changing the effected dates without penalty subject to availability and seasonal surcharges, with payments held as a credit to apply against the amended booking date.
2) Hold the reservation in credit to rebook at another suitable date subject to availability and seasonal surcharges.

Please Note: Credits are non-transferable and name changes are not permitted. Pandemic/Epidemic affected date changes and bookings held in credit must be re-booked with new travel dates no later than 60 days after the original arrival date, and new travel dates must be completed no later than 12 months after the original arrival date.

We strongly recommend travel insurance be purchased at time of booking.

Conditions of FIT (FREE INDEPENDENT TRAVELLER) Rack Rate

1) All rates are quoted net per night, per room in Australian Dollars and subject to availability
2) Children 0 to 12 years are classed as adults
3) All rates are subject to change without notice
4) Rates specify seasonality: Low, Mid and High season
5) Deposits, payments and cancellation fees are non-transferable

Please Note: Cars, Airport Transfers and tours are not included in rates unless specified otherwise, and need to be arranged directly with Crest Auto Rentals, The Norfolk Island Travel Centre, Spacifica Travel, or your preferred provider.
